Restaurant Operations
Operational excellence is at the core of a successful franchised restaurant operation. TRG is able to identify opportunities for operational improvement and develop tactical plans for realizing cost improvements, efficiency gains, and improved profitability. Much of this focus is centered on implementation of “best practices” and an emphasis on the customer experience, driving sales growth, coaching and team development, and cost management.
Restaurant Support Center
TRG has established a Restaurant Support Center (RSC) in Dallas, TX to support the individual brand businesses and operational teams. The RSC includes financial management functions, a financial planning and analysis team, IT services, and legal and administration support. The RSC has implemented technology solutions to enable information sharing and dashboard reporting across the organization as well as to drive overall efficiency and scalability. The depth of the RSC’s experience and resources enables the operations team to focus their efforts on execution within the restaurants.
People Management
Comprehensive people management by TRG includes the operational aspects associated with team building and training as well as administrative aspects of managing a large labor force across a multi-unit operation. Key elements of people management services include training program oversight, incentive program development, HR administration, employee communications, and certain reporting and compliance responsibilities.
Real Estate & Construction Management
TRG’s team has had extensive experience managing all aspects of real estate initiatives within the chain restaurant industry – including construction-related projects, and lease negotiations. TRG’s real estate and construction team is able to lead the overall strategy across brands and has developed a network of specialized resources to aid in all aspects of new store development and all asset actions on existing restaurants.
Corporate Development
TRG’s corporate development team supports overall strategic planning and manages acquisition efforts on behalf of Triton Pacific.
CHAIN RESTAURANT STRATEGY
Triton affiliate offering will identify operating businesses in the chain restaurant industry, with a focus on income producing chain restaurant franchisees in North America. Important attributes for acquisitions will include strong, consistent cash flow generation within well-positioned brands that have high customer loyalty and identifiable growth potential. We will also seek out companies that exhibit untapped potential that can benefit from a combination of capital, relationships, strategic guidance and operating expertise that the offering can provide. Target companies are those often overlooked by larger private equity offerings due to their smaller size and the greater difficulty in sourcing and managing them.
We believe the overall dynamics of the chain restaurant industry are conducive to building a sizable, enduring and very profitable business in a way that is below the radar of larger investors. In addition, the offering intends to acquire fee interests in certain of the properties that its restaurants occupy with the goal of developing and selling those properties for profit.

TRG executives have operated on both the franchisor and franchisee sides of the business, as well as in stand-alone restaurant companies. The team has a demonstrated track record operating, building, and exiting chain restaurant investments with the senior leadership averaging over 20 years of restaurant industry experience and has operated approximately 50,000 franchisee /franchisor locations across 27 brands, including:
